Journey so far

Journey so far

  • It all began with our very first meeting with the lawyer on December 10, 2015. Soon after came the domain registration, followed by the design and development of our website with countless edits and reviews along the way. The trust was formally registered on June 17, 2016. On the auspicious day of Dussehra, October 11, 2016, we proudly went live. It has been a truly rewarding journey since then.

The Trustees took the lead in establishing the Trust with a simple but powerful vision: to support college students with strong academic records but limited financial means. That was just the beginning, what followed has been a story of hope, impact, and many lives transformed.

    Our Impact Over the Years

    2017–18: 19 students | ₹1,76,877 sponsored

    2018–19: 26 students | ₹1,36,646 sponsored

    2019–20: 36 students | ₹2,34,425 sponsored

    2020–21: 59 students | ₹3,30,142 sponsored

    2021–22: 53 students | ₹5,06,917 sponsored

    2022–23: 42 students | ₹5,06,543 sponsored

    2023–24: 45 students | ₹5,06,693 sponsored

    2024–25: 25 students | ₹3,56,426 sponsored

2025-26: As of October 3, '25 the trust has so far sponsored 22 students by paying fees worth ₹2,50,810

In all 327 economically weak, but academically brilliant college students have benefited and the trust has paid fees worth Rs. 30,05,479

Many of our students were recommended by their college Principals, while others connected with us through the internet. Over time, several sponsored students have also referred their friends and acquaintances, creating a network of deserving candidates.

These students all have a strong academic record but come from families struggling to meet even basic daily needs. They are enrolled in a wide range of courses, including B.Tech (E&TC, Electrical Engineering), LLM/LLB, M.Com/B.Com, MA/BA, MSc (Economics & Finance, Computer Science, Physics, Analytical Chemistry, Microbiology, Applied Geology) and others.

We are proud to share that many of them have successfully completed their education and are now gainfully employed, building a better future for themselves and their families.

None of this would have been possible without the generous contributions from our friends, family, and well-wishers. Your timely financial support has enabled students to continue their education instead of dropping out of college, giving them the opportunity to shape a brighter future.

Employees form the backbone of any organization. Since our Trust operates with zero employees, it is you, our contributors, who have been our true pillars of strength. A heartfelt salute to all our patrons for their continued faith and association in making The Power of One a resounding success. On behalf of every student whose life you have touched, we thank you from the bottom of our heart. Take a bow!
