Journey so far

It all started with meeting the lawyer for the very first time on Dec 10, 2015. This was followed by domain registration. Design & Development of the website followed by umpteen edits, reviews, registering the trust to eventually go-live on October 11, 2016 on the auspicious day of Dusherra.....it has been a fruitful journey.

The Trustees took the lead in forming the trust to help college students with great academic records but weak economic background. That was just the beginning of great things that was to follow.

In 2017-18, the trust sponsored 19 students by paying fees worth Rs. 1,76,877
In 2018-19, the trust sponsored 26 students by paying fees worth Rs. 1,36,646
In 2019-20, the trust sponsored 36 students by paying fees worth Rs. 2,34,425
In 2020-21, the trust sponsored 59 students by paying fees worth Rs. 3,30,142
In 2021-22, the trust sponsored 53 students by paying fees worth Rs. 5,06,917
In 2022-23, the trust sponsored 42 students by paying fees worth Rs. 5,06,543
In 2023-24, the trust sponsored 45 students by paying fees worth Rs. 5,06,693
In 2024-25, as of July 27, the trust has so far sponsored 11 students by paying fees worth Rs. 1,72,183
In all 291 economically weak, but academically brilliant college students have benefited and the trust has paid fees worth Rs. 25,70,426

The students were recommended by their respective college Principal. Many also found us through the net. The sponsored students also recommended their friends, acquaintances. All these students have a great academic record but belong to families that are struggling to meet their daily needs. They are enrolled in courses like, B.Tech E&TC, Electrical Engineering, LLM/LLB, M.Com/B.Com, MA/BA, MSc in Economics & Finance, Computer Science, Physics, Analytical Chemistry, Microbiology, Applied Geology. Quite a few who have successfully completed their education are now employed.

All this would not have been possible but for contributions from friends, family and well-wishers. The timely financial assistance allowed students to pursue their studies in lieu of dropping out of college.
